I was going through a really rough time in my life, seperation/divorce, my son in a work accident and a few years later when he was getting back on his feet was murdered while saving his wife. I felt alone in the world. I never felt that is was God's fault, but I did need a spirit lift. One day I picked up my guitar and just started playing this and the whole song came out. Its just recently that I learned that in the Bible, the word wind is the same as the spirit. You don't know where it comes from or where it is going. I find it incredible when you read the words on this song with that in mind.
